Rivals Season 2 First Look From Hulu

Hulu has released the first photos from the highly anticipated Rivals Season 2. The second season of the Emmy and BAFTA award-winning UK Original debuts in 2026 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the US, as well as internationally on Disney+.

Set in the stunning Cotswolds countryside and against the backdrop of the glamorous, high-stakes world of 1980s British television, the second installment reunites the all-star cast who captivated fans and critics, while introducing some exciting new faces.

Following last season’s dramatic cliffhanger with Tony’s fate hanging in the balance, Lord Baddingham is back and out for vengeance, ready to stop at nothing to keep Corinium’s empire unrivaled.

Reprising their iconic roles are David Tennant as Lord Tony Baddingham, Alex Hassell as Rupert Campbell-Black, Aidan Turner as Declan O’Hara, Nafessa Williams as Cameron Cook, Bella Maclean as Taggie O’Hara, Katherine Parkinson as Lizzie Vereker, Danny Dyer as Freddie Jones, and Victoria Smurfit as Maud O’Hara.

The cast also includes Claire Rushbrook as Lady Monica Baddingham, Oliver Chris as James Vereker, Lisa McGrillis as Valerie Jones, Emily Atack as Sarah Stratton, Rufus Jones as Paul Stratton, Luca Pasqualino as Basil ‘Bas’ Baddingham, Catriona Chandler as Caitlin O’Hara, and Annabel Scholey.

Rivals is made by Happy Prince, part of ITV Studios, and is executive produced by Dominic Treadwell-Collins, Alexander Lamb, Felicity Blunt, Elliot Hegarty, Olivier Award-winning playwright Laura Wade, Rivals author Dame Jilly Cooper, and for Disney+ EMEA Scripted Content, Jonny Richards.

Eliza Mellor returns as the series producer. The series is written by Dominic Treadwell-Collins, Laura Wade, Sophie Goodhart, Sam Hoare, Mimi Hare, Clare Naylor, Sorcha Kurien-Walsh, and Dare Aiyegbayo, and directed by Elliot Hegarty, Jamie J Johnson, and Dee Koppang O’Leary.

Rivals is based on the novel of the same name, part of Cooper’s bestselling Rutshire Chronicles. Lee Mason, the executive director of scripted content for Disney+ EMEA, commissioned the series.
