Prime Video has announced the movie and TV titles coming to the service in October. The Prime Video October 2023 lineup includes new Amazon Original movies, TV series, and specials. Below, you’ll also find the titles coming to Amazon Freevee.
The Prime Video October 2023 schedule includes Amazon Originals such as Totally Killer, The Burial, Make Me Scream, and Bosch: Legacy Season 2. The Wheel of Time season two finale will also stream on October 6.
Prime members can enjoy hit series and movies, including fan favorites from the DC Extended Universe like Aquaman, The Batman, Black Adam, Joker, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods, at no additional cost; and rent or buy new releases like Barbie or Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.
You can also add premium channels and stream the latest seasons of Billy the Kid or NFL Icons on MGM+ among others.
Plus, this Hispanic Heritage Month now through October 15, join Prime Video and Freevee in celebrating the many different cultures, perspectives, and identities that create Hispanic and Latino heritage. MAKE ME SCREAM (2023 – Streaming October 3)
Hosted by horror fanatics and life-partners Tempestt Bledsoe (The Cosby Show) and Darryl M. Bell (A Different World), this hilariously horrifying Halloween special features three celebrity teams led by Jaleel White (Family Matters), Shoniqua Shandai (Harlem), and rapper Lil Xan .
The teams embark on a game where they must face a series of bone-chilling scare zones while trying NOT to scream, in order to survive the night and take home the prestigious Medal of Mayhem.
THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (2023)
The 2023 Thursday Night Football on Prime Video schedule rolls on throughout October, with four matchups featuring divisional rivals, ascending superstars and teams looking to cement themselves as contenders in the NFL. On Thursday, October 5th, the Washington Commanders host the Chicago Bears, followed by the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs against the Denver Broncos on October 12 at Arrowhead.
The next week, on October 19, the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Louisiana to play the New Orleans Saints, with the Bills welcoming the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Buffalo on October 26 to round out the month. Coverage begins each week at 7 PM EDT with TNF Tonight.
DESPERATELY SEEKING SOULMATE: ESCAPING TWIN FLAMES UNIVERSE (2023 – Streaming October 6)
Desperately Seeking Soulmate: Escaping Twin Flames Universe delves into the world of Twin Flames Universe, an online group run out of suburban Michigan by the captivating YouTube influencers Jeff and Shaleia Divine.
The couple’s promise is to match members with their perfect partner, but former participants describe the extreme lengths they have taken in order to claim their “twin flame.” Journalist Alice Hines soon discovers that the promise of true love may come at a price.
TOTALLY KILLER (2023 – Streaming October 6)
When the infamous “Sweet Sixteen Killer” returns 35 years after his first murder spree to claim another victim, 17-year-old Jamie (Kiernan Shipka) accidentally travels back in time to 1987, determined to stop the killer before he can start.
MR. DRESSUP: THE MAGIC OF MAKE-BELIEVE (2023 – Streaming October 10)
The Toronto International Film Festival 2023 People’s Choice Documentary Award-winner tells the history of Canada’s favorite children’s show host Ernie Coombs (better known as Mr. Dressup). Coombs built a legacy of kindness, and creativity over 4,000 episodes across 29 years with the iconic Canadian children series, Mr. Dressup.
From the early days with Fred Rogers (Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood), to his collaboration with puppeteer Judith Lawrence (voice and creator of Casey and Finnegan), the film features interviews with Eric McCormack (Will & Grace); the Barenaked Ladies; Paul Sun-Hyung Lee and Andrew Phung (Kim’s Convenience); Bruce McCulloch and Scott Thompson (The Kids in the Hall); and Michael J. Fox (Back to the Future).
AWARENESS (2023 – Streaming October 11)
Ian, a rebellious teenager living on the outskirts of society, can manipulate minds with his ability to generate visual illusions. He uses this power to survive – running small, indiscreet, scams.
When one of his cons goes awry, his abilities publicly spiral out of control and Ian becomes the target of two rival organizations, each seeking to exploit his powers.
THE GREATEST SHOW NEVER MADE (2023 – Streaming October 11)
In the early 2000s, reality TV as we know it was born. Tempers flare and laughter ensues as the unlikely pair bond while exposing corporate corruption and racial injustice in this inspirational, triumphant story.
EVERYBODY LOVES DIAMONDS (2023 – Streaming October 13)
This new Italian Original heist series with a comedic twist is inspired by the 2003 “Antwerp Diamond Heist” dubbed “the world’s largest theft of diamonds” by media around the world. The eight-part series will follow a team of small-time Italian thieves, led by Leonardo Notarbartolo (Kim Rossi Stuart), who manages to deceive top-level security with a genius mastermind plan and steal millions of dollars’ worth of precious stones from the Antwerp Diamond Centre.
Everybody Loves Diamonds also features Anna Foglietta, Gian Marco Tognazzi, Carlotta Antonelli and Leonardo Lidi, with the participation of Rupert Everett and Malcolm McDowell.
UPLOAD SEASON 3 (2023 – Streaming October 20)
Upload is a sci-fi comedy series from Emmy-winning writer Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation, King of the Hill), set in a technologically advanced future where holographic phones, self driving vehicles, AI assistance, and 3D food printers are the norm. And, forget about dying – instead, you’ll be “uploaded” to a virtual reality afterlife, and enjoy all the comforts of a world-class resort.

ZAINAB JOHNSON: HIJABS OFF (2023 – Streaming October 24)
Actress and comedian Zainab Johnson will debut her first Amazon Original comedy special, Zainab Johnson: Hijabs Off. From Prime Video’s fan-favorite series Upload, which is set to premiere Season Three on October 20, Johnson is a gifted and daring comedian who effortlessly blends relatable stories, sharp wit, and thought-provoking social commentary into her unique style of stand-up comedy.
Her debut special explores her identity as a Black female Muslim, having 12 siblings, and growing up in Harlem.
SEBASTIAN FITZEK’S THERAPY (2023 – Streaming October 26)
No witnesses, no traces, no corpse. Josy (Helena Zengel), the thirteen-year-old daughter of the well-known psychiatrist Viktor Larenz (Stephan Kampwirth) disappears under mysterious circumstances.
