Netflix Anime Series Debut New Trailers and More
Today, Netflix unveiled a packed slate of anime, family, and adult animation updates, including brand-new trailers, premiere dates, and reveals.
Netflix has become a global go-to destination for animation, home to adult action-packed series like Emmy-nominated Arcane and Love, Death + Robots, fan favorites Devil May Cry and Castlevania, and the upcoming Magic: The Gathering, among others.
That same commitment extends globally, with Netflix anime series available in more than 190 countries and regions, supported by subtitles and dubbing in up to 34 languages and accessibility features including audio descriptions.

THE NETFLIX ANIME SERIES REVEALS
BASS X MACHINA
From the studio that brought you Devil May Cry, Brian Tyree Henry is Bass X Machina. Bass X Machina premieres November 3, 2026, on Netflix.
Bass X Machina is set in a lawless Steampunk West overrun by brutal outlaws, machines, and supernatural terrors.
A father is forced to become judge, jury, and executioner—knowing that every act of justice meant to protect his family may ultimately cost him the very people he’s fighting to save.
The series will feature original music by Roman GianArthur and Nate Wonder at Wondaland. In addition to Brian Tyree Henry, the executive producers include LeSean Thomas, Jennifer Wiley-Moxley, and Chad Handley. Studio Mir is the animation studio.
BLUE EYE SAMURAI SEASON 2
When we last saw Mizu (voiced by Maya Erskine), Blue Eye Samurai’s mixed-race master of the sword was sailing toward London to find the two remaining men who might be her father.
That’s exactly where we’ll pick up in Season 2 of the Emmy Award–winning animated series from creators, executive producers, and writers Amber Noizumi and Michael Green.
As revealed in the teaser, new episodes will arrive in January 2027. In the coming season, Mizu’s bloody quest continues in London, where she faces new friends, old foes, and her own demons.
In Japan, Akemi (Brenda Song) and Taigen (Darren Barnet) navigate Edo Castle under a dangerous new shogun, while Ringo (Masi Oka) searches for a new purpose. And Mizu’s journey has an end in sight. Blue Eye Samurai will come to an epic conclusion with Season 3 in 2028.
CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS 2
The newest trailer provides a short, action-packed taste of what to expect from the upcoming 10-episode standalone series, set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.
Created in collaboration between CD PROJEKT RED and legendary animation studio TRIGGER, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 features a fresh cast of characters and follows their intertwining stories as they fight their own battles across Night City.
The series tells a raw, human story of revenge and redemption, and these themes are thrust into focus in the latest trailer.
FOOL NIGHT
Fool Night brings Kasumi Yasuda’s acclaimed manga to life through a landmark collaboration between Sunrise and Shaft, two of Japan’s most storied animation studios. All episodes start streaming on Thursday, November 26, 2026, on Netflix.
