Ne Zha 2 English Dub Trailer Featuring Michelle Yeoh

A24 and CMC Pictures are teaming up to release an English-language version of Ne Zha 2, the biggest animated film of all time. The movie, which cost just $80 million to make, has grossed $2.215 billion worldwide, with most of that figure coming from China.

The English dub of Ne Zha 2 will debut in IMAX, 3D, and other premium large formats on August 22, 2025, in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

In the sequel, a rebellious young boy is feared by the gods and born to mortal parents with wild, uncontrolled powers. Now he’s faced with an ancient force intent on destroying humanity, he must grow up to become the hero the world needs.

The English version of Ne Zha 2 is voiced by Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh (upcoming Wicked: For Good), Vincent Rodriguez III, Aleks Le, Damien Haas, and Crystal Lee.

Written and directed by filmmaker Yang Yu (professionally known as Jiaozi), became the first non-Hollywood movie to cross the $2 billion mark worldwide in its original Mandarin language version earlier this year.

Ne Zha 2 is now the highest-grossing animated film of all time, the highest-grossing non-English language film ever, and the fifth highest-grossing film overall.
