Mo Series Debuts Season 2 Trailer and Key Art

Straight out of Houston, Texas, Netflix has revealed the official trailer and key art for the second season of its Mo series. The award-winning comedy from Netflix and A24 returns on January 30 for the conclusion of Mo’s journey.

In Mo Season 2, Mo Najjar straddles the line between two cultures, three languages and a ton of bull**** as a Palestinian on the path to U.S. citizenship. The new episodes find Mo stranded across the border and desperate to return to Houston before his family’s asylum hearing.

As a stateless refugee without a passport, Mo is going to need all the hustle and charm he can muster. Little does he know that the journey home is just the start of his troubles, and there’s a new guy in town ready to steal both his longtime love Maria, and his dream of finally returning to Palestine.

Funny, poignant, and topical, the series is created and executive produced by comedians Mo Amer (Black Adam, Mohammed in Texas) and Ramy Youssef (Poor Things, Ramy). The final season is executive produced by A24, Harris Danow (Daisy Jones & The Six, Dead to Me) and returning director Solvan “Slick” Naim (Power, It’s Bruno!).

“I’m thankful to continue to tell a universal story of struggle that relates to so many refugees and millions of under-represented humans trying to be seen around the globe,” said co-creator, executive producer and star Mo Amer previously. He added he was thankful “to be able to bring the people who loved and rooted for Mo Najjar along for the ride as we close this chapter of his story.”

Filmed in Houston, Texas, the second season will consist of eight 30-minute episodes.
