A Peek at the Final Season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon

Today, AMC+ unveiled a first look at the final season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, set to premiere in 2027.

Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winner Jimmy Smits (NYPD Blue, The West Wing) joins series stars Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride as Walking Dead fan favorites Daryl and Carol in the highly anticipated new season set in Spain.

In the final season, while crossing the ravaged badlands of Spain, Daryl (Reedus) and Carol (McBride) grasp onto hope – and each other – as uncertainty about their future grows.

Smits plays “Captain Alejandro Perkins,” a former U.S. Navy officer and medical doctor who found a unique way to thrive during the apocalypse.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon also stars Romain Levi, Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, Candela Saitta and Hugo Arbués.

The series is executive produced by showrunner David Zabel, Scott M. Gimple, Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival, and Steve Squillante.
