The Walking Dead Updates From San Diego Comic-Con
Today, the stars and executive producers from AMC Global Media’s The Walking Dead: Dead City returned to Comic-Con International’s Hall H to discuss the series’ highly anticipated third season, premiering this Sunday, July 26 at 9 pm ET on AMC and AMC+.
Moderated by Dalton Ross (Entertainment Weekly), the panel included executive producers and stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan, cast members Aimee Garcia and Raúl Castillo, executive producer Scott M. Gimple, and executive producer and showrunner Seth Hoffman.
Panelists revealed an exclusive first look at the season premiere episode, shared stories and footage from behind-the-scenes of filming, and announced the appearance of The Walking Dead‘s Emily Kinney in the role of “Beth” this season.
On the panel, Gimple also announced that the fourth and final season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon starring Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride will air in 2027.
In The Walking Dead: Dead City season three, Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) finally put aside their differences to build the first thriving community in Manhattan since the apocalypse, but when chaos begins to arise, they are forced to question: will their dark past spell doom for the entire city?
