MGM+ February 2025 Schedule Announced

MGM+ has announced the titles coming to the premium linear channel and streaming service in February. The MGM Plus February 2025 lineup includes Gladiator II (debuting in late January), Nickel Boys, and new episodes of NFL Icons Season 4 and Rogue Heroes Season 2.

Years after witnessing the death of Maximus at the hands of his uncle, Lucius must enter the Colosseum after the powerful emperors of Rome conquer his home. With rage in his heart and the future of the empire at stake, he looks to the past to find the strength and honor needed to return the glory of Rome to its people.

From legendary director Ridley Scott, Gladiator II stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Lior Raz and Derek Jacobi, with Connie Nielsen and Denzel Washington. The film received an Oscar nomination for Best Costume Design at the 97th Academy Awards.

The critically acclaimed hit drama series follows David Stirling (Connor Swindells) and Paddy Mayne (Jack O’Connell) in a dramatized account of how the British Army’s Special Air Service (SAS) unit was formed in the darkest days of World War II. In the second season, facing the threat of disbandment, SAS Rogue Heroes will see the unit trying to once again prove their significance.

However, a surprise ally is found in the uptight and formal brother of David Stirling–William (Gwilym Lee). Will the fiery Paddy Mayne finally conform to following rules to protect the future of the unit, or will his dislike for authority be too significant an obstacle?

As Paddy adopts a different approach towards authority, the traumatic toll that the war is having on the men becomes more visible – particularly in Sergeant Reg Seekings. A captured soldier from the Regiment realizes that the Commando Order issued by Hitler may have sealed his fate. Over at Gavi, whilst struggling during his time in solitary, David manages to find a creative way to cope.

Episode 5: February 16, 2025
As our captured soldier attempts to make his way back to the regiment, the men of the SAS receive a visit from 2 senior Generals. Bill worries that Paddy will cause trouble. Meanwhile at Gavi, with the political instability in Italy causing members of the Italian military to flee, David Stirling prepares to make another escape attempt.

Episode 6: February 23, 2025
The SAS return to Britain and are given some time to decompress from the events in Italy. Bill is shocked to hear about the intended role of the SAS in the invasion of France and makes his feelings known, much to the displeasure of the senior Generals. Over in Gavi, David’s attempt to escape is stalled by the arrival of German soldiers in the camp, leaving him playing a game of hide and seek.

Launching during the high intensity of the NFL playoffs and concluding two nights before Super Bowl LVIX in New Orleans, Season Four will spotlight Pro Football Hall of Famers Kurt Warner, DeMarcus Ware, Joe Montana and Gale Sayers. Warner, Ware and Montana combined to play in eight Super Bowls and collect six Super Bowl championship rings, and the 2025 series will include in-depth stories on their post-season history, legacy-defining moments and heart-breaking defeats.

Sayers playing career ended prematurely in 1971 due to debilitating injuries but his impact on the game has endured for generations Narrated by award-winning broadcaster Rich Eisen, the docuseries will tell each legendary figure’s story through a combination of interviews, highlights, mic’d-up sound, and never-before-seen footage.

Episode 404 “NFL Icons: Gale Sayers”: February 7, 2025
The epic life of an American football legend is explored. Nicknamed “The Kansas Comet,” Gale Sayers in a very short window produced a dynamic and unforgettable NFL career. The youngest person ever to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Sayers’ bittersweet 68-game Chicago Bears career is chronicled with rare photos and footage.

The episode also touches on the iconic TV movie “Brian’s Song” which told the extraordinary friendship of two running backs who became inseparable on and off the field until tragedy struck.

Elwood Curtis’s college dream shatters alongside a two-lane Florida highway. Bearing the brunt of an innocent misstep, he’s sentenced to the netherworld of Nickel Academy, a brutal reformatory sunk deep in the Jim Crow South.

He encounters another ward, the seen-it-all Turner. The two Black teens strike up an alliance: Turner dispensing fundamental tips for survival, Elwood, clinging to his optimistic worldview.

Backdropped by the burgeoning Civil Rights Movement, Elwood and Turner’s existence appears worlds away from Rev. Martin Luther King’s burnished oratory. Despite Nickel’s brutality, Elwood strives to hold onto his humanity, awakening a new vision for Turner.
