Masters of the Universe Teaser Trailer and Poster Unveiled
Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Studios have released the teaser trailer and poster for Masters of the Universe, which opens in theaters on June 5, 2026.
The live-action adaptation of the classic 1980s toy brand stars Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man. The movie has not yet been rated by the Motion Picture Association (MPA).
In Masters of the Universe, director Travis Knight (Bumblebee) brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic adventure.
After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam back to Eternia, where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor.
To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela and Duncan/Man-At-Arms, and embrace his true destiny as He-Man—the most powerful man in the universe.
The movie stars Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-At-Arms, Camila Mendes as Teela, and Kristen Wiig as the voice of Roboto.
The cast also includes Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, James Purefoy as King Randor, Morena Baccarin as Sorceress, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcolm/Fisto, and Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena.
The film is directed by Travis Knight and written by Chris Butler, Aaron Nee, Adam Nee, and Dave Callaham. International distribution is handled by Sony Pictures International Releasing (upcoming View-Master film).
