Beef Season 2 First Look Revealed by Netflix
Netflix has shared a first look at the highly anticipated Beef Season 2, which will launch with all eight episodes on April 16, 2026. Created, showrun, and executive-produced by Lee Sung Jin, the Beef Season 2 episodes are about 30 minutes long.
From A24, Beef returns with a new cast and a new “beef,” as a Gen-Z couple witnesses an alarming fight between their Millennial boss and his wife.

Newly-engaged Ashley Miller (Cailee Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Charles Melton), both lower-level staff at a country club, become entangled in the unraveling marriage of their General Manager, Joshua Martín (Oscar Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín (Carey Mulligan).
Through favors and coercion, both couples vie for the approval of the elitist club’s billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh Jung), who struggles to manage her own scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang Ho).

The cast includes Oscar Isaac as Josh, Carey Mulligan as Lindsay, Charles Melton as Austin, Cailee Spaeny as Ashley, Youn Yuh-jung as Chairwoman Park, Song Kang-ho as Dr. Kim, Seoyeon Jang as Eunice, William Fichtner as Troy, Mikaela Hoover as Ava, and Musician BM, in his acting debut, as Woosh.
Lee knows fans are used to seeing older people battling with much younger generations. So he decided to switch up expectations with a Gen Z couple and their millennial counterparts. “We thought, ‘What if we actually made them a little bit closer in age and highlight that generational divide?’” Lee told the Netflix blog Tudum.

Beef Season 2 cements Lee’s vision. “The intention with Beef was always to have it in anthology. We wanted the feeling of this season’s beef to be a bit more passive-aggressive. It’s more about the internal repression of rage that you see in the workplace.”
But this season of Beef also explores relationships and how they evolve over time. Austin and Ashley “have never been tested,” Lee teases. Josh and Lindsay, on the other hand, have been together for years.

“Austin and Ashley think all they need is each other and the beach. So when we meet them, they are thrust into intersecting with our millennial couple,” Lee continues. “It’ll be interesting to see with these two how they react to life’s first real struggles.”
The executive producers of Beef Season 2 include Jake Schreier, Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny.
