The guest stars include Tim Heidecker (Rodney Lamonica), Stephanie Nogueras (Camile), Jet Miller (Vanessa), Scott MacArthur (Brock), Wyatt Walter (Corby), Dot-Marie Jones (Jackie Boone), and Katie Kershaw (Natalie-Ray Boone).
The guest star list is rounded out by Joe Massingill (Ray-Nathan Boone), Melanie Field (Shayla), Tim Simons (Agent Burton) Fatimah Taliah (Maya), Beck Bennett (Johnny), and Kyle Mooney (Bugs).
The show’s co-showrunners, writers and executive producers are Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici. Also executive producing are Craig Robinson and Mark Schulman. The directors of the eight-episode second season are Mo Marable (201, 202), Michael Weaver (203, 204), Shahrzad Davani (205, 206), Dan Goor (207), and Luke Del Tredici (208).
“Well, we’re back for more ‘Killing It.’ It’s the same wild rollercoaster as last year — an ambitious, complex exploration of life and pursuit of the American Dream mixed in with some of the stupidest jokes on television,” said Craig Robinson.
“We got so many amazing guest stars this season, while returning all our old favorites. Except for the snakes. There are many less snakes this year. But don’t worry, there’s plenty more hurdles to jump through, like deadly snails. Anyway, please enjoy and thank you for supporting unique original comedy.”
“We knew we had a rare gem with Killing It and are thrilled Peacock audiences sank their teeth into this series, led by comedic legend Craig Robinson,” said Susan Rovner, Chairman, Entertainment Content, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, previously.
“We can’t wait to tell more twists and turns of one person’s hilarious, persistent pursuit of the American dream, from the incomparable creative minds of Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici and our partners at UTV, as Peacock continues to be a home for unique, thought-provoking and humor-filled comedies.”
“We are immensely grateful to everyone at Universal Television and Peacock. ‘Snake-based economic satire’ isn’t exactly a familiar, beloved genre of television comedy, but they were fully behind the project from the start. We can’t wait to make more!” said Goor and Del Tredici.
“At its heart, Killing It demonstrates the wild ride we are willing to take when we are passionate about something, while also reminding us to support one another…because there are a lot of snakes out there!” said Erin Underhill, President, Universal Television.
Underhill added: “This series is a compassionate and hilarious comedy that anyone who has ever been in pursuit of a dream can relate to; that’s what makes it so special.”
“We’re excited that Peacock has embraced this distinct show, and look forward to continuing our partnership with Dan, Luke, Craig, Claudia and the rest of this fantastic team on a season two.”
