Jesse Armstrong HBO Movie Sets Cast and Release Window

HBO will debut an original film, written, directed, and executive produced by seven-time Emmy winner and Oscar-nominated Jesse Armstrong (HBO’s Succession), this spring. Production on the film begins this month in Park City, Utah, and will be Armstrong’s feature directorial debut.

In the film, a group of billionaire friends get together against the backdrop of a rolling international crisis.

The cast includes Oscar and eleven-time Emmy-nominee Steve Carell (The Four Seasons, The Patient) as Randall, Jason Schwartzman (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, HBO’s Bored to Death) as Hugo Van Yalk (Souper), Cory Michael Smith (Saturday Night, May December) as Venis and Emmy-nominee Ramy Youssef (Poor Things, HBO’s More Feelings) as Jeff.

The HBO original film is executive produced by Jesse Armstrong, Frank Rich, Lucy Prebble, Jon Brown, Tony Roche, Will Tracy, Mark Mylod and Jill Footlick.
