Jerry Maguire Returns to Theaters for 30th Anniversary
TriStar Pictures is inviting audiences to relive the magic of Jerry Maguire on the big screen for the film’s 30th anniversary. The film will be back in select theaters for a limited engagement on April 12th, 14th, and 15th.
Released in theaters in 1996, the movie is about a successful sports agent (Tom Cruise), fired for being honorable, who fights for his ideals and those who depend on him.

Tom Cruise was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of a successful sports agent who is fired from a high-powered agency when he develops an honorable streak. To his dismay, he finds he has also lost most of his clients and his fiancée, publicist Avery Bishop (Kelly Preston).
With only the least important client on his once-full roster, undersized wide receiver Rod Tidwell (Cuba Gooding Jr. in an Oscar-winning performance), and the one person from his ex-firm who believes in him, wistful single mother Dorothy Boyd (Renée Zellweger), Jerry must start over and rebuild his life from the ground up.

Nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Writing (Cameron Crowe, who also directed), the movie’s cast also includes Jerry O’Connell, Jay Mohr, Bonnie Hunt, and Regina King.
Jerry Maguire was produced by James L. Brooks, Richard Sakai, Laurence Mark, and Cameron Crowe. Janusz Kaminski, ACE, was the director of photography.

Rated R for language and sexuality, the movie earned $273.5 million at the global box office, with $153.9 million coming from North American theaters and $119.6 million from international markets.
Jerry Maguire has an 84% score on Rotten Tomatoes‘ Tomatometer and is often quoted with phrases such as “you had me at ‘hello'”, “you complete me”, and “show me the money”.
