In Your Dreams Release Date and Teaser Revealed by Netflix
Netflix has revealed the release date, teaser trailer, and artwork for In Your Dreams, an upcoming animated comedy adventure. The film is set to launch on the streaming service on November 14, 2025.
The film is officially described as follows: “When 12-year-old Stevie and her 8-year-old brother, Elliot, discover a magical picture book that says the Sandman can make any dream a reality, the duo embark on a life-affirming journey into the dream realm to find the mythical character. Longing to make their family perfect, the duo urgently wishes for it to come true.”

The cast includes Simu Liu as Dad, Craig Robinson as Baloney Tony, Cristin Milioti as Mom, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Stevie, Elias Janssen as Elliot, Gia Carides as Nightmara, Omid Djalili as The Sandman, SungWon Cho as Chad, and Zachary Noah Piser as Joon Bae.
Written and directed by Alex Woo, In Your Dreams is a magical saga with plenty of heart. Erik Benson joined as co-director and writer, and Tim Hahn and Gregg Taylor as producers.

“One of my favorite things to do as a kid was to wake my brother up in the middle of the night and annoy him with accounts of my weird and crazy dreams,” Alex Woo, who crafted the story with Stanley Moore, told the Netflix blog Tudum. “When I had the opportunity to make my first feature film, I knew exactly what it was going to be about.
“When I started this film, I set out to tell a heartfelt story that explored the magical and often hilariously absurd world of dreams. What I didn’t expect was how memorable and emotional the performances were going to be.

Woo added, “I guess that’s what happens when you’re lucky enough to have Simu Liu and Craig Robinson in your cast. Talk about a dream come true! But what I’m most excited for audiences to experience is Stevie and Elliot’s sibling story — the bickering, the bonding, and everything in between. It’s ultimately why we share our weird and crazy dreams.”
“Cristin is an EGOT-level talent,” Woo said about Cristin Milioti (Black Mirror). “She can sing. She can act. I haven’t seen her dance, but I’m sure she could give Ginger Rogers a run for her money. You believe every performance Cristin gives, and that’s every director’s dream come true.”

The score is by composer John Debney, whose previous work includes Hocus Pocus, Hocus Pocus 2, The Princess Diaries, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, Santa Clarita Diet, and more.
The film also features “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” by Eurythmics and Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” performed by Weezer. Kuku Studios and Sony Pictures Imageworks are the animation studios that worked on the film.
