I Know What You Did Last Summer Trailer Revealed

Sony Pictures has released the official trailer for I Know What You Did Last Summer, the new installment of the horror franchise, opening in theaters on July 18.

In the film, when five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences.

A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they’re forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer… and is hell-bent on revenge.

As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.

The cast includes Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, Austin Nichols, Lola Tung, and Nicholas Alexander Chavez.

Returning from the first two films in the franchise are Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt. The first movie was released in October 1997, and the second film, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, in November 1998.

The new movie was directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson from a script by Sam Lansky and Kaytin Robinson. The story is by Leah McKendrick and Jennifer Kaytin Robinson.

I Know What You Did Last Summer is produced by Neal H. Moritz and executive-produced by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, Jackie Shenoo, and Karina Rahardja. The film has not yet been rated by the Motion Picture Association (MPA).
