Vital Thrills has your exclusive first look at a new clip from the fifth episode of House of David Season 2, which will premiere on Sunday, October 26. New episodes from the eight-episode season debut weekly on Sundays on the Wonder Project subscription on Prime Video in the U.S.
In the new clip from season two, Jonathan (Ethan Kai) asks David (Michael Iskander) what it feels like to be anointed. David says it feels powerful, like fire or a rushing wind, and everything he feels is amplified—passion, joy, even rage. It frightens him, and he fears he may lose control.

In the episode, titled “God of Swords,” the growing threat of the Philistines pushes David’s men to search for answers in dark corners. At the palace, the King and Queen’s conflict deepens.
House of David tells the story of the ascent of the biblical figure, David, who eventually becomes the most renowned and celebrated king of Israel. Season one of the series captivated over 44 million viewers worldwide, premiering in the top 10 new series debuts in the U.S. to date, and reached #1 on Prime Video in the U.S.

In House of David Season 2, Israel nears collapse as Saul’s reign falters. David rises from shepherd to warrior, caught between loyalty and destiny, while the Age of Iron transforms warfare. As families fracture, forbidden loves spark, and alliances shift, faith and power collide in a struggle that will decide Israel’s future.
