House of David Season 2 Trailer Released by Wonder Project
Wonder Project has released the official trailer for House of David Season 2, which is set to premiere with two episodes on Sunday, October 5, 2025. The premiere is part of the launch of Wonder Project’s subscription channel on Prime Video in the U.S.
New episodes from the eight-episode season of the hit biblical drama will drop weekly on Sundays, with Episode 3 premiering on Sunday, October 12.
The series tells the story of the ascent of the biblical figure, David, who eventually becomes the most renowned and celebrated king of Israel. Season one captivated over 44 million viewers worldwide, premiering in the top 10 new series debuts in the U.S. to date, and reached #1 on Prime Video in the U.S.
In House of David Season 2, Israel nears collapse as Saul’s reign falters. David rises from shepherd to warrior, caught between loyalty and destiny, while the Age of Iron transforms warfare. As families fracture, forbidden loves spark, and alliances shift, faith and power collide in a struggle that will decide Israel’s future.
From visionary filmmakers Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn, the series stars Michael Iskander as David alongside Ali Suliman (Jack Ryan, Arthur the King), Ayelet Zurer (Angels and Demons, Man of Steel), Stephen Lang (Avatar: The Way of Water, Don’t Breathe), Indy Lewis (Industry, King and Conqueror), and more.
At launch, Wonder Project on Prime Video will offer audiences more than 125 licensed titles and over 1,000 hours of hand-picked films and TV series across multiple genres that the service says “embody the company’s mission of entertaining the world with courageous stories, inspiring hope, and restoring faith in things worth believing in.”
From studios such as Banijay Entertainment, BBC Studios, Disney, Lionsgate, NBCUniversal, and Sony Pictures, Wonder will offer its audience beloved fan-favorites like Party of Five, The Mysterious Benedict Society, Pride & Prejudice, Dead Poets Society, Rudy, and more.
In addition to House of David Season 2, titles available at the subscription launch will include Mr. Bean, Sherlock, The Conners, American Underdog, Friday Night Lights, Jesus Revolution, Lincoln, My Girl, The Sandlot, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and The Sound of Music.
