Heart of the Beast Trailer and Poster Featuring Brad Pitt
Paramount Pictures has unveiled the official trailer and poster for Heart of the Beast, the upcoming action-adventure film directed by David Ayer.
Starring Brad Pitt, the film is scheduled for release in theaters on September 25, 2026. It has not yet been rated by the Motion Picture Association (MPA).
After a harrowing plane crash, Special Forces officer James Belmont (Brad Pitt) and his combat dog, Odin, find themselves stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness. Together, they are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements.
From acclaimed filmmaker David Ayer, Heart of the Beast is an intense adventure thriller that explores the unbreakable bond between a man and his best friend as they face their greatest battle yet.
The cast also includes J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe. Written by Cameron Alexander, the film is produced by Olivia Hamilton, p.g.a., Marty Bowen, David Ayer, p.g.a., and Brad Pitt, p.g.a.
The executive producers include Damien Chazelle, Scott Lumpkin, Cameron Alexander, Chris Long, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, Andrew Lary, Sophie Cassidy, and Zack Conroy.
Paramount Pictures is presenting, in association with Doman Entertainment and Gulfstream Pictures, a Wild Chickens, Temple Hill, and Kino World production.
Principal photography for Heart of the Beast began in March 2025 in Queenstown, New Zealand, and wrapped in May of that year. The filming locations also included Lake Wakatipu, Glenorchy, Mount Aspiring National Park, and Milford Sound.
