EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert Begins Streaming on Paramount+

Paramount+ today announced that EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert, from acclaimed filmmaker Baz Luhrmann (Elvis, The Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge!), will make its streaming debut on June 3, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., and on July 24 in Canada.

Following its global theatrical release, EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert invites audiences to experience Elvis Presley like never before – an electrifying portrait featuring long-lost footage from his legendary Las Vegas residency in the 1970s, alongside rare 16mm footage from Elvis on Tour, treasured 8mm film from the Graceland archive, and unheard recordings that offer an unprecedented look at the King of Rock and Roll in concert.

“We found such a unique treasure trove of material and worked with Peter Jackson and the amazing team at Park Road Post Production to elevate the footage to levels never seen before. The aim was to reveal Elvis in his prime, as if you were actually there,” said Baz Luhrmann.

“Jonathan Redmond and I set out to make something that was more than a documentary and more than a concert film, and what we found along the way was simply EPiC.”

EPiC currently holds a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, marking Baz Luhrmann’s most critically acclaimed film to date. The film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival, where audiences danced in the aisles, and went on to deliver an extraordinary global box office run, breaking the record for the highest-grossing opening weekend for a documentary in IMAX.

The documentary film marks Luhrmann’s second major project centered on the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, following Elvis, which earned eight Academy Award nominations and won multiple BAFTA’s and Golden Globes. With EPiC, Luhrmann transforms unearthed archival material into an electrifying cinematic odyssey that captures Elvis at his best, raw, intimate, and electric.

EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert is directed by Baz Luhrmann and produced by Sony Music Vision, Bazmark Films, and Authentic Studios, and distributed in the United States by NEON and in Canada by Elevation Pictures.
