Daryl Dixon, Talamasca, and Vampire Lestat Updates From NYCC

Today, AMC Networks took over New York Comic Con’s Main Stage with panels for fan-favorite series Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, in addition to the newest series in Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order.

Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order made its New York Comic Con debut with a panel featuring executive producer Mark Johnson, who oversees Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe for AMC Networks, showrunner and executive producer John Lee Hancock, series stars Nicholas Denton and William Fichtner, and special guest star Eric Bogosian.

The panel teased first-look clips from the series, which focuses on the secretive society responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, and other creatures around the globe.

It unveiled a complete look at the six-episode first season ahead of the series’ two-episode premiere on Sunday, October 26, on AMC and AMC+.

Immediately following, Holbrook moderated a panel for the critically acclaimed, award-winning series Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat, featuring executive producers Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch, and cast members Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Bogosian, Assad Zaman, and Jennifer Ehle.

They previewed the series’ return in 2026, revealed casting news, and debuted an extended first look at the highly anticipated third season, which follows rockstar Lestat (Reid) and his band on tour.

The new cast members include Sheila Atim (The Woman King) as Akasha, Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek) as Larry, Ryan Kattner (Destroy All Neighbors) as Salamander, Seamus Patterson (Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities) as Alex, and Sarah Swire (The Boys) as TC.

Closing out the night, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season three panel featured the Walking Dead Universe Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple, showrunner and executive producer David Zabel, executive producer and director Greg Nicotero, and executive producer and star Norman Reedus.

They shared exclusive new footage from the upcoming final two episodes of season three, currently airing Sundays on AMC and AMC+, which tracks Daryl (Reedus) and Carol (McBride) as they continue their journey towards home and the ones they love, and revealed a special behind-the-scenes look from the set of season four.
