BritBox November 2022 Schedule Announced

BBC Studios and ITV have announced the BritBox November 2022 titles, which include everything from new BritBox Originals to classic British fare. BritBox is a digital video subscription service offering the largest collection of British TV in the U.S. and Canada.

The BritBox November 2022 schedule includes the new Original series Crossfire, an action thriller executive produced and starring Keeley Hawes (Bodyguard, Honour).

The first original series by the bestselling novelist Louise Doughty, Crossfire tells the story of a vacation going horribly wrong when a group of revengeful gunmen takes a hotel hostage, and guests are forced to make monumental life-or-death decisions with enormous consequences.

Closing out the month on November 28, BritBox will release Season 2 of Hope Street, a BritBox Original police drama set in Northern Ireland. From acclaimed producers Paul Marquess (London Kills) and Donna Wiffen (The Bill), the series is set in the fictional town of Port Devine and focuses on Port Devine’s police department.

The BritBox November 2022 slate also includes a plethora of cooking programs to kick off the holiday season. Featuring recipes that are approachable for beginners, Chef Jamie Oliver shares easy-to-follow recipes in the exclusive premiere of Jamie’s One-Pan Wonders, as well as in Jamie’s Quick & Easy, Jamie Oliver: Together, and Jamie’s Festive Feast.

BritBox’s November schedule will feature even more superstar chefs sharing their tips and tricks, including Gordon Ramsay in Gordon Ramsay’s Home Cookery Course and Gordon’s Ultimate Home Cooking; Nigella Lawson taking us through her cookbook in Cook, Eat, Repeat; Marco Pierre in Marco Pierre White’s The Chopping Block and Nadiya Hussain in Nadiya’s Party Feasts.

BritBox is available for $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year—after an introductory free trial period—on Roku, Amazon Fire TV stick, Apple TV 4th Gen, Samsung, LG, and all iOS and Android devices, AirPlay, Chromecast, and online at the BritBox site. Combining the best elements of a panel show, stand-up, and improvised games, this punchy panel show returns with Britain’s top comics taking a satirical swipe at the news and current events. Apart from consistently providing one of the most loved half-hours of comedy on TV from the very start, Mock The Week has championed new and up-and-coming comedians.

Frankie Boyle, John Oliver, Michael McIntyre, Jack Whitehall, Sara Millican, and more recently, Josh Widdicome, Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, and James Acaster are among the stars who have all appeared early in their careers and developed and honed their skills on the show.

In the 1980s, in East London, a gang of hopeless crooks became embroiled in one of the biggest gold heists in the world. The series is written by the combined multi-BAFTA-winning talents of Tom Davis and director James De Frond (Murder in Successville, King Gary), and Allan Mustafa, Steve Stamp, and Hugo Chegwin (People Just Do Nothing), who also star alongside Davis as the calamitous cockney clowns.

The series also features Karen Pirie, writer, and Father Brown actress Emer Kenny. The Curse is a fictionalized tale inspired by the true events of the notorious Brinks Matt robbery of 1983. Six armed men raided a depot near Heathrow Airport, expecting to find £100,000 in cash, only to stumble across gold worth £26 million.

Nigella calls the project “… a celebration of the power of food to transform every single day”, as she delves into the ingredients she loves, the recipes she always returns to, and the pleasure of cooking and eating.

November 18, 2022: Come Dine with Me “Best of” | New to BritBox | 9 X 30, 1 X 60
This is a “best of” collection of iconic Come Dine With Me episodes, in which five amateur chefs host a three-course dinner party for the other contestants at their own home. During the taxi journey home, each competitor rates the host’s food and hosting skills, with the highest-scoring chef winning £1,000 cash.

November 18, 2022: Cooking Up a Fortune | New to BritBox | 11 X 30
Hosted by food market entrepreneur Dominic Cools-Lartigue, amateur cooks who dream of starting their own food business to compete to sell homemade dishes to the British public. Whoever survives the heats and triumphs will be given the chance to launch their own food brand.

Nine contestants take on a variety of culinary challenges as they compete against each other to prepare the best meals and impress the judges.
