Ballerina CCXP Extended Look and New Photos

Lionsgate has brought online the extended look for From the World of John Wick: Ballerina that was shown at CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil over the weekend.

Stars Ana de Armas, Ian McShane, Norman Reedus and director Len Wiseman took on the iconic Thunder Stage on Sunday for an electric finale panel at CCXP.

The action-packed panel kicked off with a spectacular dance and stunt performance by local artists followed by a special conversation with the cast and director. Ana, Ian, Norman and Len were welcomed by a wildly enthusiastic crowd, with cheering fans holding up signs for the cast, and thunderous applause for the new footage.

Ian shared a moving tribute to his former co-star, Lance Reddick, who played Charon in the John Wick franchise. The crowd was also treated to a surprise pre-recorded greeting from Keanu Reeves and producer Chad Stahelski.

Ballerina CCXP

Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas), who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.

While in town, the Ballerina cast celebrated Brazilian culture by visiting key landmarks, including the famed Palmeiras Training Center and Football Academy, the leading futbol team in the country. They received their own personal jerseys and interacted with players. They also enjoyed a gastronomy tour of traditional Brazilian dishes at the renowned Figueira Rubaiyat restaurant.

Directed by Len Wiseman from a script by Shay Hatten, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina will open in theaters on June 6, 2025. The cast of the film includes Ana de Armas, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, the late Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Norman Reedus, with Ian McShane and Keanu Reeves.

The movie is produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski. It is based on characters created by Derek Kolstad. Tyler Bates and Joel J. Richard will compose the score for the film.

Principal photography for From the World of John Wick: Ballerina began on November 7, 2022, in Prague, Czech Republic. Additional action sequences were shot starting in February 2024. The MPA has not yet rated the film, which is a Thunder Road Films and 87eleven production.

The John Wick franchise kicked off with John Wick in October 2014 and was followed by John Wick: Chapter 2 in February 2017, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum in May 2019, and John Wick: Chapter 4 in March 2023.
