Damien Chazelle’s highly-anticipated new film is scheduled to open in theaters on December 23, 2022.
Damien Chazelle’s previous credits include The Eddy (2020), First Man (2018), La La Land (2016), Whiplash (2014) and 10 Cloverfield Lane (2014).
Babylon is an original epic set in 1920s Los Angeles led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Diego Calva, with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li and Jean Smart.
A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.
The cast also includes P.J. Byrne, Lukas Haas, Olivia Hamilton, Tobey Maguire, Max Minghella, Rory Scovel, and Katherine Waterston.
The cast is rounded out by Flea, Jeff Garlin, Eric Roberts, Ethan Suplee, Samara Weaving, and Olivia Wilde.
The film was written and directed by Damien Chazelle and produced by Marc Platt, Matthew Plouffe, and Olivia Hamilton.
The executive producers include Michael Beugg, Tobey Maguire, Wyck Godfrey, Helen Estabrook, and Adam Siegel.
Babylon is a Marc Platt, Wild Chickens and Organism Pictures production to be distributed by Paramount.
