Apple TV+ January 2025 Schedule Announced
Apple TV+ has announced the programming that will be added to the streaming service next month. The Apple TV Plus January 2025 lineup includes Severance Season 2, the premiere of conspiracy thriller Prime Target, Eva the Owlet Season 2, and Mythic Quest Season 4.
Apple TV+ offers premium, compelling drama and comedy series, feature films, groundbreaking documentaries, and kids and family entertainment. It is available to watch across all of a user’s favorite screens.

Severance Season 2 (TV-MA Thriller Series)
The 10-episode second season will debut globally on Apple TV+, with the first episode on Friday, January 17, 2025, followed by one episode every Friday through March 21. The globally celebrated Emmy and Peabody Award-winning workplace thriller hails from executive producer and director Ben Stiller.
The series stars Emmy Award nominee Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, Emmy Award winner John Turturro, Academy Award winner Christopher Walken, and Academy and Emmy Award winner Patricia Arquette. Season two welcomes new series regulars Sarah Bock and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson.
In “Severance,” Mark Scout (Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work … and of himself.
In season two, Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe.
“Severance” is executive produced by Stiller, who also directs five episodes this season, in addition to directors Uta Briesewitz, Sam Donovan and Jessica Lee Gagné. The series is written, created and executive produced by Erickson.
“Severance” season two is also executive produced by John Lesher, Jackie Cohn, Mark Friedman, Beau Willimon, Jordan Tappis, Donovan, Caroline Baron, Richard Schwartz, and Nicholas Weinstock. In addition to starring, Scott and Arquette serve as executive producers. Fifth Season is the studio.
Season one of “Severance” received worldwide acclaim from fans and critics alike, as the AFI Awards winner landed 14 Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (Stiller), Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (Scott) and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series.
The series took home awards for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series and Outstanding Main Title Design. The series also earned two Writers Guild of America Awards for Best New Series and Best Drama Series, as well as two Screen Actors Guild Award nominations, and nominations for the Producers Guild and Directors Guild Awards.

Prime Target (TV-14 Thriller Series)
The new conspiracy thriller “Prime Target” stars SAG Award winner Leo Woodall (“The White Lotus,” “One Day”) and Quintessa Swindell (“Black Adam,” “In Treatment”). Created by award-winning writer Steve Thompson (“Sherlock,” “Vienna Blood”), who also serves as executive producer, the new drama is produced for Apple TV+ by New Regency with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions.
The eight-episode series will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on January 22, 2025, with the first two episodes, followed by one episode weekly, every Wednesday through March 5, 2025.
“Prime Target” features a brilliant young math postgraduate, Edward Brooks (played by Woodall), who is on the verge of a major breakthrough. If he succeeds in finding a pattern in prime numbers, he will hold the key to every computer in the world.
Soon, he begins to realize an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it’s even born, which throws him into the orbit of Taylah Sanders, a female NSA agent (played by Swindell) who’s been tasked with watching and reporting on mathematicians’ behavior. Together, they start to unravel the troubling conspiracy Edward is at the heart of.
The cast also includes Academy Award nominee and BAFTA Award winner Stephen Rea, BAFTA Award nominee David Morrissey, Emmy Award winner Martha Plimpton, BAFTA Award winner Sidse Babett Knudsen, SAG Award nominee Jason Flemyng, BAFTA Award nominee Harry Lloyd, Ali Suliman, Fra Fee and Joseph Mydell.
Produced for Apple TV+ by New Regency with Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions, Ed Rubin serves as executive producer for New Regency alongside Beth Pattinson, Emma Broughton, Yariv Milchan, Arnon Milchan and Michael Schaefer; Marina Brackenbury is executive producer for Scott Free Productions along with David W. Eva the Owlet Season 2 (TV-Y Kids & Family Series)
The beloved animated kids and family series “Eva the Owlet” is based on the New York Times bestselling Scholastic book series “Owl Diaries” by award-winning author Rebecca Elliott. The series stars Eva, a creative, cheeky owlet who lives next door to her best friend Lucy in the woodland world of Treetopington.
With big ideas and an even bigger personality, Eva goes on high-flying adventures, expressing herself in her diary along the way! Season two takes viewers through a night in the life of Eva, a spunky and enthusiastic owlet who dreams big.
Whether she’s planning a backyard campout with her friends or saving the town’s Spring Acorn Roll from hungry squirrels, Eva tackles her goals with conviction and flair, expressing herself in her journal along the way.

The late Dr. John F. Evans, a writing clinician, National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach at Duke Integrative Medicine, and the Founder and Executive Director of Wellness & Writing Connections, LLC, served as the expressive writing expert on the series through Apple TV+’s changemakers initiative. The series was one of the last projects he worked on, hoping to inspire young viewers to write, to find their voices, and to believe in themselves.

Mythic Quest Season 4 (TV-MA Comedy Series)
The fourth season of the hit comedy “Mythic Quest,” hailing from creators Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz, will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with two episodes on Wednesday, January 29, followed by one new episode weekly through Wednesday, March 26.
Season four of “Mythic Quest” brings stars McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis and Naomi Ekperigin back together under the same fluorescent office lights. The reunited team at Mythic Quest confronts new challenges in a changing video game landscape as stars rise, egos clash, relationships bloom and everyone tries to have a little more work work-life balance.
Plus, as the upcoming fourth season of “Mythic Quest” reaches its finale, the much-anticipated anthology series “Side Quest” (FKA “Mere Mortals”) will make its global debut on March 26 with all four episodes. An expansion of the “Mythic Quest” universe, “Side Quest” explores the lives of employees, players and fans who are impacted by the game in an anthology format.
The series stars McElhenney, Anna Konkle, Derek Waters, William Stanford Davis, Bria Henderson, Rome Flynn, Leonard Robinson, Gary Kraus, Annamarie Kasper, Esai Morales, Shalita Grant and many more in the leading roles across each installment.
“Side Quest” is developed and executive produced by Burch, John Howell Harris and Katie McElhenney, with Ganz, Rob McElhenney, David Hornsby, Day, Todd Biermann, Nick Frenkel, Michael Rotenberg, Margaret Boykin and Genevieve Jones also serving as executive producers.
