Acorn TV November 2024 Schedule Announced
Acorn TV has announced the titles that will be available on the AMC-owned streaming service in November 2024. The Acorn TV November 2024 slate adds to the service’s various acclaimed English and foreign-language dramas, engaging comedies, documentaries, and more.
The November schedule includes Acorn TV Originals Inspector Ellis and Whitstable Pearl Season 3, Acorn TV/Sundance Now co-premiere The Midwich Cuckoos: Village of the Damned, Acorn TV exclusive Maternal, and more.
ACORN TV NOVEMBER 2024 HIGHLIGHTS
Inspector Ellis (Acorn TV Original Series) – New Series Premieres Monday, November 4
Each 90-minute episode will see Ellis (Sharon D Clarke, Red, White & Royal Blue, Doctor Who, Holby City) accompanied by her right-hand man DS Harper, played by Andrew Gower (The Winter King, Carnival Row, Outlander), arrive at a different local police station, where she will have to win over the local detectives and immerse herself in the cases she’s come to solve.
As a Black female cop, Ellis is used to being dismissed and overlooked but remains focused on her work as a first-class murder detective, fueled by a determination for justice and a deep well of compassion for those who need it.
Whitstable Pearl Season 3 (Acorn TV Original Series) – New Episodes Premiere Every Monday Until the Season Finale on November 25
The Whitstable Pearl restaurant is thriving, and so is Pearl’s (Kerry Godliman, After Life, Our Girl) detective sideline. After a short hiatus, DCI Mike McGuire (Howard Charles, Top Boy, Shadow and Bone) returns to Whitstable, reenergized, and determined to make progress in his quest for self-healing.
He and Pearl continue to make a formidable team as they work through various cases together – Pearl never needs Mike’s help as much as he needs hers! As cracks start to show in Pearl and Tom’s relationship, and Mike finally comes to terms with how his wife died, will Pearl and Mike finally acknowledge their deep feelings for one another?

When the body of 18-year-old Rowan Edwards is found in a car, partly submerged in a lake, DCI Ellis is called in by Assistant Chief Constable (ACC) Alison Leighton to take over this investigation and get results fast. Rowan’s mother was a Member of Parliament, so the press is all over it, and they need an arrest.
Rowan’s girlfriend, Maggie, who was with him, has not been seen since. The current Senior Investigating Officer (SIO), Belmont, is less than impressed to have been shunted off the case. At the same time, DS Chet Harper, a keen detective in his early 30s, is assigned to help Inspector Ellis.

Jenny’s colleagues do not seem particularly worried about her disappearance, believing she left of her own free will – but Inspector Ellis smells that something is rotten within this force. And she is proven right when Jenny is found murdered… while she was 14 weeks pregnant.

In November 2004, Bill (Timothy Spall, Mr.Turner, Wicked Little Lies) and Wendy Ainscow (Brenda Blethyn, Vera, Pride & Prejudice) took an overdose of sleeping pills and waded into the warm Atlantic Ocean off Tenerife to commit suicide. Wendy survived, but tragically, Bill died.
The couple’s bizarre suicide pact was the culmination of years of trying but failing to get an accurate diagnosis for their adult daughter Lisa (Rebekah Staton, Raise by Wolves, The Midwich Cuckoos: Village of the Damned), who returned home after being de-sectioned under the mental health act.
