Paramount+ has announced that Paramount Pictures’ A Quiet Place: Day One, the edge-of-your-seat thrill ride that explores the chilling origins of this horror phenomenon, will stream exclusively on the service beginning Tuesday, August 27, in the U.S. and Canada.
The film’s availability in additional international Paramount+ markets will be announced later. The movie is rated PG-13 for terror and violent content/bloody images.
A Quiet Place: Day One opened to nearly $100 million worldwide and set the franchise record for the biggest opening at the global box office. To date, the movie has grossed over $261 million worldwide.

Accompanied by her cat, Frodo, and an unexpected ally, Eric (Joseph Quinn), Samira must embark on a perilous journey through the city that has suddenly gone silent, where the only rule is to stay quiet to stay alive. Djimon Hounsou and Alex Wolff also star in this intensely suspenseful thriller.
Michael Sarnoski directed the film, which was executive-produced by Allyson Seeger and Vicki Dee Rock. The producers are Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, and John Krasinski.
Sarnoski wrote the screenplay, and John Krasinski and Michael Sarnoski wrote the story. Paramount Pictures is presenting a Platinum Dunes and Sunday Night production.
Directed by and starring Krasinski, A Quiet Place opened in theaters in 2018 and grossed $340.9 million worldwide, with $188 million coming from domestic theaters and $152.9 million from international markets. The film also starred Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmons, and Noah Jupe.
Blunt, Simmons, and Jupe returned for A Quiet Place Part II, which opened in 2021 and was also directed by Krasinski.
The film earned $297.4 million worldwide, with $160 million coming from North American theaters and $137.3 million from overseas. Cillian Murphy and Hounsou also starred in it.
