Sony Pictures is counting down the launch of the new trailer for Venom: The Last Dance with more footage from the anticipated October 25, 2024, release. The full new trailer will be available this Thursday, September 12.
In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy.
Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo is forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.
Venom: The Last Dance stars Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.
The film is directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she wrote, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel. The film is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy, and Hutch Parker. Joe Caracciolo Jr. is the executive producer.
The movie is part of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe of films, which also includes Venom (2018), Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), Morbius (2022), and Madame Web (2024).
Venom opened in theaters in October 2018 and grossed $856 million worldwide, with $213.5 million coming from North American theaters and $642.5 million from international markets.
It was followed in October 2021 by Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which earned $506.9 million at the global box office, with $213.5 million from domestic theaters and $293.3 million from overseas.
