Thirteen Lives Movie Reveals New Poster and Featurette

United Artists Releasing has shared a new poster and featurette for the anticipated Thirteen Lives movie, opening in select theaters in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago for one week on July 29.

The film will launch globally on Prime Video on August 5. Thirteen Lives is rated PG-13 for some strong language and unsettling images.

The new featurette showcases the behind-the-scenes making of the upcoming drama, how the global community worked together to save the lives of a soccer team and their coach, and the human spirit of collaboration.

The Thirteen Lives movie is a dramatic thriller directed by Ron Howard from a script by William Nicholson.

Thirteen Lives recounts the incredible true story of the tremendous global effort to rescue a Thai soccer team who become trapped in the Tham Luang cave during an unexpected rainstorm.

Faced with insurmountable odds, a team of the world’s most skilled and experienced divers — uniquely able to navigate the maze of flooded, narrow cave tunnels — join with Thai forces and more than 10,000 volunteers to attempt a harrowing rescue of the twelve boys and their coach.

With impossibly high stakes and the entire world watching, the group embarks on their most challenging dive yet, showcasing the limitlessness of the human spirit in the process.

The cast includes Viggo Mortensen as Rick Stanton, Colin Farrell as John Volanthen, Joel Edgerton as Harry Harris, Tom Bateman as Chris Jewell, and James Teeradon Supapunpinyo as Coach.

Also starring are Pattrakorn ‘Ploy’ Tungsupakul, Sahajak ‘Poo’ Boonthanakit, Popetorn ‘Two’ Soonthornyanakij, Weir Sukollawat, Thiraphat Sajakul, Vithaya Pansringarm, Nophand Boonyai, Lewis Fitz-Gerald, and Craig Challen.

The producers include Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Karen Lunder, P.J. van Sandwijk, William M. Connor, and Gabrielle Tana.

The executive producers are Jon Kuyper, Carolyn Marks Blackwood, Marie Savare, Michael Lesslie, Aaron L. Gilbert, and Jason Cloth. The co-producers include Raymond Phathanavirangoon and Vorakorn ‘Billy’ Ruetaivanichkul.
