The Thomas Crown Affair Teaser with Michael B. Jordan
Amazon MGM Studios has released the official teaser trailer for The Thomas Crown Affair, the upcoming heist film directed by Michael B. Jordan. The film, which has not yet been rated by the MPA, will open in theaters on March 5, 2027.
Academy Award winner Michael B. Jordan directs, produces, and stars in a visually breathtaking, sensual, and unexpectedly moving heist thriller, where the most dangerous man in the room is the one nobody’s watching.
In addition to Jordan, The Thomas Crown Affair cast includes Kenneth Branagh, Adria Arjona, Lily Gladstone, Danai Gurira, and Pilou Asbæk.
Written by Drew Pearce and Jason Hall, the new film is produced by Jordan (Swapped, Sinners), Elizabeth Raposo, Marc Toberoff, Patrick McCormick, and Charles Roven. Jason Hall and Alan R. Trustman are the executive producers.
The 2027 release is the second remake of the 1968 film, directed by Norman Jewison and starring Steve McQueen, Faye Dunaway, Paul Burke, and Jack Weston. The movie was nominated for two Academy Awards, winning Best Original Song for Michel Legrand’s “The Windmills of Your Mind.”
Directed by John McTiernan, the 1999 remake stars Pierce Brosnan, Rene Russo, and Denis Leary. Produced for $48 million, the movie earned $124.3 million at the global box office.
