The Mole Season 2 Gets the Green Light

Netflix has some good news for fans of The Mole today. Just like in the series, The Mole Season 2 today received a green light – not a red light! The series will continue on the streaming service.

The first season of the show’s revival debuted on Netflix on October 7, 2022 and has been a successful experiment for the service.

The Mole Season 2 Gets the Green Light

The Mole is a high-stakes competition series and in this reimagined version, twelve players work together in challenges to add money to a pot that only one of them will win at the end.

Among the players is one person who has secretly been designated “the Mole” and tasked with sabotaging the group’s money-making efforts. In the end, one will outlast their competition and expose The Mole to win the prize pot.

The Mole Season 1 consists of ten 45-minute episodes that aired weekly for a three-week event. The new season was hosted by Alex Wagner, who is host of Alex Wagner Tonight, which airs Tuesdays through Fridays at 9 p.m. on MSNBC.

While it is unknown where The Mole Season 2 will be set, the first season of the revival was filmed in New South Wales and Queensland, Australia.
