The Mandalorian and Grogu Trailer and Poster Have Arrived

Lucasfilm has released the official trailer and poster for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, which opens exclusively in theaters on May 22, 2026. The latest action-packed trailer features Hutts, other creatures, and aliens.

The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.

Directed by Jon Favreau, Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu also stars Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White, and is produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, with music composed by Ludwig Göransson.

Grogu in Star Wars

The film’s music is composed by Ludwig Göransson, who returns to score the franchise.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, which was filmed for IMAX, has not yet been rated by the Motion Picture Association (MPA).

In case you missed it, Lucasfilm also released a Super Bowl spot for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. In the video, the Mandalorian and Grogu dash through the snow on a wagon pulled by a team of tauntauns.

The Big Game spot features Din Djarin and Grogu riding through a snowy landscape. Instead of a team of Clydesdale horses, as we often see in Budweiser commercials, the vehicle is pulled along by a group of tauntauns.
