The Angry Birds Movie 3 Trailer and Poster Fly In

Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer and poster for The Angry Birds Movie 3, which will open in theaters on December 23, 2026. This holiday season, one angry bird will face his greatest challenge yet, surviving fatherhood… while saving the world!

Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso, Horrible Bosses), Josh Gad (Frozen, Beauty and the Beast), Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Trolls World Tour), and Danny McBride (The Righteous Gemstones, The Mitchells vs. the Machines) are reprising their roles as Red, Chuck, Silver, and Bomb.

They are joined by Emma Myers, Walker Scobell, Marcello Hernández, Tim Robinson, Anna Cathcart, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, MrBeast, Salish Matter, Psalm West, Sam Richardson, and James Austin Johnson, with Lily James and Keke Palmer.

The Angry Birds Movie 3 is directed by John Rice (The Angry Birds Movie, Beavis & Butt-Head Do the Universe) and written by Thurop Van Orman. The film is produced by John Cohen, Dan Chuba, Carla Connor, and Namit Malhotra.

The third installment follows the success of the first two Angry Birds movies, which have grossed more than $500 million worldwide at the box office and achieved outstanding streaming results, signaling strong demand for the third theatrical installment.

Grammy Award-winning musician and composer Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, The Minions Movie, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish), who has scored all of the previous Angry Birds films, is returning to score The Angry Birds Movie 3.

DNEG Animation is handling storyboards, art development, and animation. Jeanie Chang is the production designer, and Francesca Natale is the character designer. The head of story is Vadim Bazhanov, and the lead editor is Sarah K. Reimers.

The first two films, which were distributed by Sony Pictures, were rated PG by the Motion Picture Association for rude humor and action.
