Surviving Earth Transports Viewers Back 450 Million Years
Today, NBC unveiled the trailer and key art for the upcoming docuseries Surviving Earth, premiering on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The show will transport viewers back 450 million years by exploring how life on Earth endured, and ultimately flourished, through the planet’s most catastrophic events.
In advance of the premiere, NBC will debut a special two-hour encore of its Emmy-nominated hit series The Americas: Fun Fact Edition on June 4th. Beginning June 11th at 8 pm ET, Surviving Earth will lead into encore episodes of The Americas: Fun Fact Edition, marking an epic night for viewers.
Surviving Earth is a landmark series that showcases how life not only survived but also thrived through Earth’s most catastrophic environmental crises. Using cutting-edge CGI, viewers are transported back to a world of never-before-seen creatures and their remarkable survival stories.
