Starz July 2023 Movie and TV Titles Announced

Starz has announced the movie and TV titles coming to the service in July. The Starz July 2023 schedule includes the second seasons of Minx and Heels, as well as the Run the World Season 2 finale.

Season seven of the fan-favorite drama Outlander, starring Caitríona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin, also continues with new episodes all month long.

On the film front, notable titles joining the Starz app this month include My Best Friend’s Wedding, Leap Year, The Wedding Planner, Bad Boys, and Bad Boys II. Plus, Independence Day and Captain America: Winter Soldier will have special Fourth of July airings on Starz linearly, with both being already available on the Starz app for on-demand viewing among a special July 4th holiday movie collection.

RUN THE WORLD SEASON 2

Run the World season two finale will air Friday, July 14 at midnight (ET) on the Starz app, all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms. On linear, it will air on Starz at 9:00PM ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada.

Run the World chronicles the euphoric highs and heartbreaking lows that Whitney, Renee and Sondi must endure in their pursuit of world domination. Whitney must follow the road of self-discovery in order to thrive in her life with or without Ola, while Renee and Sondi must decide what they truly want out of life – both in love and their careers.

Whether they reunite with a past love, taste the life of a millionaire, or see their career take off in a radical new direction, these powerful Black women, fortified by their impenetrable friendship, won’t let anything get in their way.

HEELS SEASON 2

Heels season two will premiere July 28, with episodes available Fridays at midnight (ET) on the Starz app, all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms. On linear, they will air on Starz at 10:00PM ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada.

Heels is a story about the men and women who chase their dreams in the world of small-town pro wrestling. Set in a close-knit Georgia community, it follows a family-owned wrestling organization where two brothers and rivals, Jack (Stephen Amell) and Ace Spade (Alexander Ludwig), are at war over their late father’s legacy and their individual versions of success, while also working to find their own identity as a “face” or a “heel.”

In wrestling, a “heel” is a common term used to describe the antagonist or villain in the ring, however, the line between hero and heel is much less clear for this sibling rivalry outside of the ring.

OUTLANDER SEASON 7

Outlander season seven continues with new episodes available all month long on Fridays at midnight ET on the Starz app, all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms and internationally on the Lionsgate+ premium streaming platform in the U.K. On linear, new episodes will debut at 8:00 PM ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada.

In the seventh season of Outlander, Jamie, Claire, and their family are caught in the violent birth pains of an emerging nation as armies march to war and British institutions crumble in the face of armed rebellion. The land the Frasers call home is changing – and they must change with it.

In order to protect what they’ve built, the Frasers have to navigate the perils of the Revolutionary War. They learn that sometimes to defend what you love, you have to leave it behind. As the conflict draws them out of North Carolina and into the heart of this fight for independence, Jamie, Claire, Brianna, and Roger are faced with impossible decisions that have the potential to tear their family apart.

MINX SEASON 2

Minx season two will premiere July 21, with episodes available Fridays at midnight (ET) on the Starz app, all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms. On linear, they will air on Starz at 9:00PM ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada.

Set in 1970s Los Angeles, Minx centers around Joyce (Ophelia Lovibond), an earnest young feminist who joins forces with a low-rent publisher (Jake Johnson) to create the first erotic magazine for women.

In season two, Doug, Joyce and the entire Bottom Dollar crew grapple with Minx’s explosive success, which takes them all to thrilling new places and brings more money, fame and temptation than anyone knows how to handle.
