Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse First Look

Today, at the Sony Pictures presentation at CinemaCon, the release date for the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse was revealed. The new film will serve as the conclusion to the studio’s Oscar-winning Spider-Verse trilogy.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, from Sony Pictures Animation, is scheduled to open in theaters on June 4, 2027.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse First Look

The trilogy kicked off with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018. The first film earned $393.6 million at the global box office, with $190.2 million coming from North American theaters and $203.4 million from international markets.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse followed in 2023 and grossed $690.8 million worldwide, with $381.6 million in North America and $309.2 million internationally.

Miles Morales (Shameik Moore)

Beyond the Spider-Verse is directed by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson. The screenplay was written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham.

The new movie is produced by Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Amy Pascal and Avi Arad, and Jinko Gotoh. Aditya Sood and Christina Steinberg are executive producing.

The film has not yet been rated by the Motion Picture Association (MPA), though both Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse received a PG rating.
