Running Point First Look From Netflix
Netflix has released the premiere date, trailer, key art and photos for Running Point, a new comedy series from executive producer Mindy Kaling premiering on February 27.
In the series, when a scandal forces her brother to resign, Isla Gordon (Kate Hudson) is appointed president of the Los Angeles Waves, one of the most storied professional basketball franchises, and her family business.

Ambitious and often overlooked, Isla will have to prove to her skeptical brothers, the board, and the larger sports community that she is the right choice for the job.
From writers and executive producers Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen, Running Point puts a bold twist on the underdog comedy. The 10-episode series stars Kate Hudson, Brenda Song, Drew Tarver, Scott MacArthur, Fabrizio Guido, Toby Sandeman, Chet Hanks, Jay Ellis and Max Greenfield.

David Stassen is the showrunner of the comedy series, which also stars Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Roberto Sanchez, Uche Agada and Dane DiLiegro.
The executive producers include Kate Hudson, Howard Klein (3 Arts Entertainment), Jeanie Buss and Linda Rambis. Jordan Rambis is the producer.

Running Point is produced by Mindy Kaling’s Kaling International in association with Warner Bros. Television, where Kaling is under an overall deal.
Kaling International’s previous credits include The Mindy Project, Champions, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Late Night, Never Have I Ever, To Kill a Tiger, The Sex Lives of College Girls and Velma.
