Prime Video has announced the movie and TV titles coming to the service in May. The Prime Video May 2023 lineup includes new Amazon Original movies, TV series, and specials. Below, you’ll also find the titles coming to Amazon Freevee.
The Prime Video May 2023 schedule includes a live stream of the Academy of Country Music Awards and you’ll get to laugh out loud with the Freevee Original comic-of-age comedy Primo.
May also marks the start of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. You can check out new comedy specials from trailblazers like Jimmy O. Yang (Jimmy O. Yang: Guess How Much?) and Zarna Garg (Zarna Garg: One in a Billion).

A follow-up to Good Deal, Yang’s beloved first global special, Guess How Much? dives into various topics including love languages, loser friends, and negotiating with his Asian parents.
¡HASTA LA MADRE! DEL DÍA DE LAS MADRES (2023 – Streaming May 5)
Until the Mother of Mother’s Day! tells the story of Lidia (Gala Montes) and Manuel (Michel Duval), a newlywed couple whose families have only seen each other once and who will have to meet to celebrate Mother’s Day. But, there is a family secret that when it explodes it will change everything.
Esmeralda (Anette Michel) and Rosa (Leticia Huijara), the mothers, will have to support each other to get ahead on this day, which seems to turn against them. And they will realize that sometimes it is best to send everything to hell.
TOMMY LITTLE: PRETTY FLY FOR A D*CKHEAD (2023 – Streaming May 5)
Tommy Little is the reigning rock star of Australian comedy. Now the country’s favourite d*ckhead has done something that nobody thought was a good idea, he became a pilot!
While most of us were busy giving up on baking in the lockdowns, Tommy aimed for the heavens, taking flying lessons and nailing his first solo flight (well, sort of).
ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS (2023 – Streaming May 11)
The Academy of Country Music Awards returns to Prime Video, in collaboration with the Academy of Country Music and MRC, which will livestream exclusively for a global audience in 2023 from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The 2023 awards show, the 58th annual ACM show, is set for Thursday, May 11, 2023.
ZARNA GARG: ONE IN A BILLION COMEDY SPECIAL (2023 – Streaming May 16)
Zarna Garg’s taking the comedy world by storm with her first streaming stand-up special One in a Billion. As an unapologetic, Indian-Immigrant mom, she has plenty to joke about, and the punch lines come fast and furious.
THE FERRAGNEZ – THE SERIES SEASON 2 (2023 – Streaming May 18)
The Italian Original unscripted show The Ferragnez – The Series will give audiences a peek at the professional and private lives of digital entrepreneur and fashion icon Chiara Ferragni and versatile artist and entrepreneur Fedez, along with their firstborn son Leone and new child Vittoria.
Following the success of Season One, Chiara Ferragni and Fedez are back to tell the viewers about new challenges and successes, but also about their relationship as a young couple and as parents, courageously accepting, once again, to dig deep and open the doors of their home.
HOHLBEINS’ – THE GRYPHON (2023 – Streaming May 26)
The three misfits Mark, Memo and Becky discover a fantastic world called The Black Tower where the Gryphon, a world-devouring monster, mercilessly subjugates all living creatures. And Mark is the only one who can defeat it. But he’s no hero and doesn’t want to be one.
