Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Trailer Debuts

The Emmy-nominated series returns with two episodes on Tuesday, August 8. New episodes of Only Murders in the Building Season 3 will stream weekly.

Season three finds Charles, Oliver & Mabel (played by Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) investigating a murder behind the scenes of a Broadway show.

Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd) is a Hollywood action star whose Broadway debut is cut short by his untimely death.

Aided by co-star Loretta Durkin (Meryl Streep), our trio embarks on their toughest case yet, all while director Oliver desperately attempts to put his show back together. Curtains up!

Only Murders in the Building Season 3 hails from co-creators and writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman (Grace & Frankie, Looking).

Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. The Hulu series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.

The series has received nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series and for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Steve Martin and Martin Short.

For the first season of the series, Rotten Tomatoes reported a 100% approval rating based on 107 critic reviews. The website’s critics consensus reads: “Only Murders in the Building’s silly approach to true crime obsessives is at once hilarious and insightful, thanks in large part to its extremely charming central trio.”

The second season received a 98% approval rating based on 115 critic reviews: The critics consensus reads: “Only Murders in the Building gets a new lease on life with a knottier sophomore outing that retains the series’ core charm and wit.”
