North of North Season 2 Premiere Date, Trailer and Key Art

Netflix has announced that North of North Season 2 will launch globally on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The second season of the hit Canadian comedy series will consist of eight episodes. The official trailer and key art for the new season were also revealed.

North of North was Netflix’s first series commissioned from Canada and is a co-production with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), in partnership with APTN.

In North of North Season 2, as winter closes in on Ice Cove, young Inuk mother Siaja (Anna Lambe) is still making bold decisions and even bolder mistakes in her effort to level up her life.

The hardest part? Proving to her tight-knit Arctic community and herself that she’s ready to take charge.

In addition to Lambe, the cast includes Maika Harper (Neevee), Braeden Clarke (Kuuk), Jay Ryan (Alistair), Mary Lynn Rajskub (Helen), Zorga Qaunaq (Millie), Bailey Poching (Colin), Nutaaq Simmonds (Elisapee), and Keira Cooper (Bun).

The creators and executive producers are Stacey Aglok MacDonald (Qanurli, The Grizzlies) and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril (Angry Inuk, The Grizzlies) for Red Marrow Media. Miranda de Pencier (Anne with an E, Beginners, The Grizzlies) is the executive producer for Northwood Entertainment.

The additional executive producers include Mike Goldbach (Fleishman Is in Trouble, Heated Rivalry), Garry Campbell (The Kids in the Hall, Less Than Kind), Jessie Gabe (Workin’ Moms, One More Time), and Robin Gurney (Twin Peaks, Kidding).

When the series was renewed for a second season in April 2025, Anna Lambe said, “When I got the call from Alethea, Stacey, and Miranda about North of North being renewed for a second season, my heart exploded in the best way possible! I’m so excited and overwhelmed with joy; I can’t wait to head back to Ice Cove!”
