New Crime 101 Trailer and Poster Featuring Chris Hemsworth

Amazon MGM Studios has released the new trailer and poster for Crime 101based on Don Winslow’s acclaimed novella of the same name. The film will open in theaters globally on February 13, 2026.

Crime 101 has been rated R by the Motion Picture Association (MPA) for language throughout, some violence, and sexual material/nudity.

Set against the sun-bleached grit of Los Angeles, Crime 101 weaves the tale of an elusive jewel thief (Chris Hemsworth) whose string of heists along the 101 freeway has mystified police. When he eyes the score of a lifetime, his path crosses that of a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry) who is facing her own crossroads.

Convinced he has found a pattern, a relentless detective (Mark Ruffalo) is closing in, raising the stakes even higher. As the heist approaches, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, and all three are faced with life-defining choices–and the realization that there can be no turning back.

Written and directed by Bart Layton (American Animals, The Imposter), Crime 101 stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo (Task), Barry Keoghan (upcoming The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event), Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, and Jennifer Jason Leigh, with Nick Nolte and Halle Berry.

The film is produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Derrin Schlesinger, Dimitri Doganis, Bart Layton, Shane Salerno, Chris Hemsworth, and Benjamin Grayson.
