Peacock has brought online the official Mrs. Davis teaser, which gives you a first look at the drama series starring three-time Emmy Award nominee Betty Gilpin (GLOW, The Hunt). You can watch the Mrs. Davis teaser using the player below.
The series will premiere with four episodes on April 20, 2023. New episodes will then debut weekly on Thursdays. Mrs. Davis is a SXSW Official Selection and will be making its world premiere on March 14.
The eight-episode series comes from Tara Hernandez and Damon Lindelof, the creative minds behind The Big Bang Theory, LOST and Watchmen.
Mrs. Davis is the world’s most powerful algorithm. Simone is the nun devoted to destroying Her. Who ya got?
Betty Gilpin stars alongside Jake McDorman (Dopesick, The Right Stuff) and Andy McQueen (Station Eleven, Fahrenheit 451) as Simone, a nun who goes to battle against an all-powerful Artificial Intelligence known as Mrs. Davis. McDorman plays Gilpin’s rebellious ex, who also has a personal vendetta against the Algorithm.
Also starring are Ben Chaplin, Margo Martindale, David Arquette, Elizabeth Marvel, Katja Herbers, Chris Diamantopoulo, Ashley Romans, Tom Wlaschiha, and Mathilde Ollivier.
Tara Hernandez (The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon) is the showrunner and executive producers and writes with Damon Lindelof (Watchmen, The Leftovers).
Also executive producing and directing are Owen Harris (Black Mirror: San Junipero, Brave New World) and Alethea Jones (Rise of the Pink Ladies, Evil).
