Paramount Pictures has released the final trailer for Mean Girls, which will be opening in theaters on January 12. Audiences can be the first to see Mean Girls on January 10th at the “On Wednesdays We Wear Pink” early access screening event.
Paramount will offer the early access screening event on Wednesday, January 10, at 7:00 p.m. local time, presented in select theaters across the country, including Dolby Cinema auditoriums and other premium format screens. Tickets for the participating theaters can be found here.
In Mean Girls, new student Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George (Reneé Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Bebe Wood) and Karen (Avantika).

However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney), she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs.
As Cady sets to take down the group’s apex predator with the help of her outcast friends Janis (Auli’i Cravalho) and Damian (Jaquel Spivey), she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the most cutthroat jungle of all: high school.
The Mean Girls cast includes Angourie Rice, Reneé Rapp, Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, and Christopher Briney.
Also starring are Jenna Fischer as Ms. Heron, Busy Philipps as Mrs. George, Ashley Park as Madame Park, Tina Fey as Ms. Norbury, and Tim Meadows as Mr. Duvall.
Based on the stage musical of the same name, the film is directed by Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr. from a script by Tina Fey.
Mean Girls is a Broadway Video and Little Stranger production. The executive producers are Jeff Richmond, Nell Benjamin, Eric Gurian, Erin David, and Pamela Thur.
