Hulu Reveals First Look at Under the Bridge

Hulu has debuted six photos from its upcoming original series Under the Bridge. The limited series will premiere on Hulu with two episodes on April 17 and will launch new episodes weekly.

Under the Bridge is based on acclaimed author Rebecca Godfrey’s book about the 1997 true story of fourteen-year-old Reena Virk (Vritika Gupta), who went to join friends at a party and never returned home.

Through the eyes of Godfrey (Riley Keough) and a local police officer (Lily Gladstone), the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder — revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.

The series also stars Chloe Guidry, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Izzy G., Aiyana Goodfellow, Ezra Faroque Khan, and Archie Panjabi.

Under the Bridge

Based on the best-selling true-crime book Under the Bridge by the late Rebecca Godfrey, the Hulu series was adapted for the screen by Quinn Shephard and executive produced by Samir Mehta, Liz Tigelaar, and Stacey Silverman (Best Day Ever), Shephard, Geeta Patel, who also directs, Godfrey and Tara Duncan.

Riley Keough is executive producing with Gina Gammell (Felix Culpa). The series is produced by ABC Signature.

Rebecca Godfrey’s first book was The Torn Skirt (2001), which she followed with Under the Bridge in 2005. The author passed away from lung cancer in New York City on October 3, 2022, at the age of 54.

Godfrey had nearly completed the novel The Dilettante before her death. The book is expected to be completed using her notes and is scheduled to be published by Knopf.
