Prime Video and Blumhouse have revealed the official trailer and poster for House of Spoils, which will begin streaming globally on Thursday, October 3.
The film, which has been rated R for language and some violent content, will have its World Premiere at Fantastic Fest on Saturday, September 21.
House of Spoils follows an ambitious chef (Ariana DeBose) as she opens a restaurant on a remote estate where she battles kitchen chaos, crushing self-doubts… and a haunting presence who threatens to sabotage her at every turn.
Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy wrote and directed the film, which stars Ariana DeBose, Barbie Ferreira, Arian Moayed, Amara Karan, Mikkel Bratt Silset, and Marton Csokas.
The producers include Greg Gilreath, Adam Hendricks, Drew Houpt, Alex Scharfman, Lucas Joaquin, and Jason Blum.
Bridget Savage Cole, Danielle Krudy, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, and Chris Dickie are the executive producers.
This is the second feature film from writer-directors Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy. They previously co-directed Blow the Man Down. House of Spoils continues a collaboration forged by Amazon MGM Studios and Blumhouse Television in 2019.
Food stylist Zoe Hegedus consulted on the film. Her previous credits include Midsommar, Poor Things, Dune, and Dune: Part 2. She specializes in creating food for movies, TV series, immersive eating experiences, food installations, and edible tablescapes.
