Crystal Lake Trailer and Key Art Trailer Unveiled
Peacock has unveiled the official trailer and key art for Crystal Lake, the upcoming prequel to the Friday the 13th franchise. All eight 60-minute episodes of the series will be available on Peacock on October 15, 2026.
From A24 and creator Brad Caleb Kane, the series follows single mother Pam Voorhees, who has been unable to shake her grief after her young, sickly son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake almost a year before.
When two strangers arrive at Pam’s door, digging into her past, a disturbing chain of events is set into motion, leaving the townspeople of Crystal Lake wondering: just who is Pam Voorhees?
The cast includes Linda Cardellini as Pam Voorhees, as well as William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, and Gwendolyn Sundstrom. The recurring cast includes Callum Vinson, Nick Cordileone, Joy Suprano, Danielle Kotch, and Phoenix Parnevik.
Brad Caleb Kane (It: Welcome to Derry, Tokyo Vice, Warrior) is the creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer of the A24 series. The executive producers also include Marc Toberoff, Victor Miller, Robert M. Barsamian, Robert P. Barsamian, Stuart Manashil, Tyson Bidner, Michael Lennox, and Roy Lee.
The directors of the Peacock series include Michael Lennox (101-103), Celine Held & Logan George (104-106), and Quyen Tran (107-108).
