Children of Blood and Bone Trailer, Featurette and Posters Debut
Paramount Pictures has brought online the official trailer, a behind-the-scenes featurette, and 11 character posters for Children of Blood and Bone, the upcoming adaptation of the young adult romantic fantasy novel by Tomi Adeyemi.
In the epic fantasy world of Orïsha, a young woman goes on a quest to reclaim the magic that was violently stolen from her people. She and her brother ally with the king’s daughter and son to fight back against his brutal rule.
Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, Children of Blood and Bone stars Thuso Mbedu, Damson Idris, Amandla Stenberg, and Tosin Cole.
The movie features Academy Award nominee Cynthia Erivo, Lashana Lynch, Zackary Momoh, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Academy Award nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor, Academy Award winner Regina King, Idris Elba, and Academy Award winner Viola Davis.
Opening in theaters and IMAX on January 15, 2027, the film also stars Saniyya Sidney, Diaana Babnicova, Bukky Bakray, Ayra Starr, Shamz Garuba, Kola Bodunde, Pamilerin Afolake Ayodeji, and Tèmítópé Fágbénlé.
Children of Blood and Bone is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, who wrote the screenplay with author Tomi Adeyemi. The movie is produced by Wyck Godfrey, John Fischer, Isaac Klausner, Karen Rosenfelt, and Matt Jackson.
The executive producers include Jeff Waxman, Jennifer Madeloff, Tomi Adeyemi, Reggie Rock Bythewood, Marty Bowen, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, Andrew Lary, Sophie Cassidy, and Zack Conroy.
