Boys of Tommen Photos Revealed by Prime Video
Prime Video has released the first official photos for Boys of Tommen, the upcoming romantic drama TV series based on the BookTok sensation and #1 New York Times bestselling series by Irish author Chloe Walsh.
The photos, featuring Nancy Surridge as Shannon Lynch and Conor Sánchez as Johnny Kavanagh, were unveiled at Prime Video’s “Obsessed Retreat: Class of ’26,” a two-day immersive event in the Alps, Germany.
Boys of Tommen follows the forbidden love story of Johnny Kavanagh, the star rugby player on the verge of a pro career, and Shannon Lynch, the talented but painfully shy new girl at the prestigious private school of Tommen College in Ballylaggin, Ireland.
Both teenagers are hiding secrets: Johnny, a potentially career-ending injury, and Shannon, a troubled and violent home life. Through their secret and highly charged connection, the two teens from opposite worlds battle against the odds and find a way to save each other.
The series, which is now in production and directed by VMA-nominated Brendan Canty (Christy), stars Nancy Surridge as Shannon Lynch, Conor Sánchez as Johnny Kavanagh, James O’Donoghue as Joey Lynch, and Sophie McGibbon as Aoife Molloy.
The Core 10 are rounded off with Amelia May as Claire Biggs, John Hewson as Gerard Gibson, Indy Lewis as Lizzie Young, Alex Dunne as Hugh Biggs, Dixie Egerickx as Katie Wilmot, and Jamie Schneider as Patrick Feely. They are joined by Daisy Jacob as Bella Wilkinson, Jonathan Heed as Cormac Ryan, Cathal Ó Síocháin as Ronan McGarry, James Craven as Pierce O’Neill, and Lewis Brophy as Podge.
Eoin Macken as Teddy Lynch, Róisín Gallagher as Marie Lynch, Amy Huberman as Edel Kavanagh, Jonathan Forbes as John Snr, and Tristan Heanue as Tony Molloy have been cast as the parents whose choices shape the lives of the young leads, and Harvey Moloney and Cobhan O’Brien have been cast as Ollie Lynch and Tadhg Lynch, Shannon’s younger brothers.
The series, which was greenlit earlier this year, is produced by global independent studio wiip in association with Amazon MGM Studios, with Metropolitan providing local production services. Series one has been adapted by Poppy Cogan (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder) and will be based on the first two novels in Walsh’s bestselling series, Binding 13 and Keeping 13.
Cogan also serves as executive producer alongside author of the series, Chloe Walsh, wiip’s Paul Lee, Hope Hartman and Sean Flanagan, Temple Hill’s Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, James Seidman and Annika Patton, and Drama Republic’s Greg Brenman and Deena Butt. Carla Stronge serves as casting director. Brendan Canty (Christy) is directing the series, while Ingrid Goodwin serves as series producer.
Boys of Tommen will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide as part of Amazon MGM Studios’ expanding global slate of premium international scripted series and dedication to delivering book-to-screen adaptations.
