During today’s F1 75 live launch event, Warner Bros. Pictures took viewers behind the scenes of F1, the highly anticipated film opening in theaters on June 27. “The F1 movie is as authentic a racing movie has ever been,” says producer Lewis Hamilton in the video.

The Formula 1 racing feature stars Pitt as a former driver who returns to Formula 1, alongside Damson Idris as his teammate at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid. The feature has been shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport.
In addition to Academy Award winner Brad Pitt, F1 also Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon, Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, Emmy Award winner Tobias Menzies, Emmy Award nominee Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo.

Joseph Kosinski directs from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger. The film is executive produced by Daniel Lupi.
Collaborating with Kosinski behind the scenes are his creative team, including director of photography Claudio Miranda, production designers Mark Tildesley and Ben Munro, editor Stephen Mirrione, costume designer Julian Day, casting director Lucy Bevan and composer Hans Zimmer.
Apple Original Films is presenting a Monolith Pictures, Jerry Bruckheimer, Plan B Entertainment and Dawn Apollo Films production. F1 will be distributed in theaters worldwide and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures, opening only in theaters in North America on June 27.
