Behemoth! Trailer Features Pedro Pascal as a Gifted Cellist

Searchlight Pictures has released the official trailer and poster for Behemoth!, the upcoming drama film written and directed by Tony Gilroy. The movie has not yet been rated by the Motion Picture Association (MPA).

In Behemoth!, gifted cellist Alex Serian (Pedro Pascal) returns home to Los Angeles after 20 years on the road. Music, which has been the constant, all-consuming river of his life, begins to carry Alex on an adventure that will change him forever.

The cast also includes Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, Alexa Swinton, Kaya Ralls, Erik Griffin, JoBeth Williams, and Margarita Levieva, with Hank Azaria and Will Arnett.

Behemoth! is scheduled to open in theaters on December 4, 2026. It is produced by Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg, and John Gilroy.

The musicians who contributed to the soundtrack include James Newton Howard, Alan Silvestri, Brandon Roberts, Michael Abels, Emily Bear, Lukas Frank, Michael Giacchino, Henry Jackman, and Nami Melumad.

Principal photography for Behemoth! began in Los Angeles in October 2025. Filming wrapped in January 2026.
