AMC Global Media August 2026 Schedule Announced
The AMC Global Media August 2026 highlights feature a sizzling lineup, including new episodes of The Walking Dead: Dead City, starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan, as well as the debut of The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only Live special from New York’s legendary Beacon Theatre.
Members can also look forward to Acorn TV’s new mystery series Blue Murder Motel, reuniting McLeod’s Daughters stars Michala Banas and Brett Tucker, the return of fan-favorite The Chelsea Detective, starring Adrian Scarborough and Vanessa Emme, and the new series Age Inappropriate on All Reality.
Film premieres for the month include Sundance Now’s exclusive streaming debut of Claire Denis’s drama The Fence, starring Matt Dillon (Crash, There’s Something About Mary) and Isaach De Bankolé (Task, Godfather of Harlem).
The new Shudder films include creature feature The Yeti; the mind-bending survival horror Hellcat, starring Dakota Gorman (Natural Disasters); horror comedy Buffet Infinity; and Australian retro beach thriller Penny Lane Is Dead, starring Bailey Spalding (Scrublands), Alexandra Jensen (Talk to Me), and Ben O’Toole (Hacksaw Ridge).

The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3 (AMC Original Series) – New Episodes Every Sunday on AMC/AMC+ until the Season Finale September 13

Filmed earlier this summer at the legendary Beacon Theatre in New York City, Vampire Lestat, the world’s first immortal rock star, makes his final tour stop.
Played by Sam Reid, Lestat takes the stage to perform original music from The Vampire Lestat by series Composer Daniel Hart for a live performance.

Set on a hot summer’s night in 1986 Australia, 17-year-old Penny Lane is celebrating getting into college with her longtime girlfriends. After Penny’s jealous and troubled cousin decides a cruel prank is in order, what begins as a thoughtless spiked cupcake game spirals into a night of bloodshed and revenge. Hollywood Crime Story: The Mob Takes Over the Movies (Sundance Now Documentary) – New Documentary Series Premieres Thursday, August 13
